控制孩子使用手機

當孩子長大, 經常要獨自外出時, 便開始需要使用手機。但這往往是災難的起頭。自制力不足的孩子往往會機不離手, 影響學習和睡眠。家長在作出干預時, 更會影響關係。

這次介紹一個可能對家長有點幫助的工具 - 就是控制孩子使用手機時間的App. 如果要出智能手機給孩子的話, 可以參考一下。

如何出英文題目

仍然記得家姐在3年級第一次考試後, GE成績大跌時, 英文科老師對失分所給的意見: 想要取得好成績, 家長必須要自己出Vocabulary題目給孩子.

回想當時, 真的很無助, 心想: 家長那懂得自己出題目給孩子?

但老師其實點出了重點. 家長是無須借助坊間的英文練習. 反而可以因應學校所教的範圍, 出相關的題目幫助孩子溫習.

現在, 家姐的小學生涯快要完結, 我們已經懂得很有效率地 “出題目” 去幫助家姐預備英文科考試了. 考試時間快到, 趁機會和大家分享一下網上資源和出題方法吧.

康文署暑期活動

暑假到了! 如果尚未為子女報暑期活動的話, 可以考慮報康文署的暑期活動.

康文署暑期活動

回想當日在求學時期, 每年暑假前都會嘗試報當時市政局/區域市政局的暑期活動. 但位少人多,很難成功的.

今時今日, 報讀這些活動的成功率經已大大增加, 而價錢仍是十分廉宜。加上手續簡單, 可透過網上, 郵寄或親身報名, 確是省回不少時間. 而班更是可以跨區報的, 彈性十足.

妹妹報的一個乒乓球班, 羽毛球班和泳班, 都獲取錄, 可見成功報名實在不難.

眼見有不少暑期班還在接受報名或接受候補. 現時可報八月份的課程. 如果有興趣為孩子安排暑期活動, 不妨嘗試報名.

數字機 - 80年代的回憶

教女兒數學時, 總覺得這一代的小朋友在心算上比較慢. 思前想後, 發現原來她們欠缺了玩數字機的經驗.

還記得這部經典遊戲機嗎? 把數字加到 10 就會出飛碟, "焦" 的一聲把它消滅掉的快感, 真是言語所難形容. 有意重溫這份感覺, 或考驗一下孩子的反應和心算, 可以在下面的連結找到這個遊戲.
